Welcome to OHAA — Namakkal's First Waldorf-Inspired
Cambridge International School.

Our journey began with a dream — a dream to create an educational environment where children could thrive, explore, and grow holistically. As a nature lover and someone deeply passionate about meaningful education, I felt compelled to offer an alternative to the conventional schooling system. The Waldorf education philosophy resonated with my vision, focusing on nurturing not just the intellect but also the emotional and creative capacities of children.

Our Story
2021

From Six Children to a Growing Learning Community

OHAA's foundation was laid in 2021 with just six children in a home-schooling setup. What began as a small initiative has grown into a vibrant community that embraces innovative and child-centric education. In 2023, we adopted the Waldorf-inspired Cambridge IGCSE framework, merging experiential learning with academic excellence. Our campus has expanded into a nature-inspired, eco-friendly space, reflecting our commitment to sustainable and harmonious growth.

"Good Will and the Will to do Good"

Dear Friends,

OHAA is a manifestation of deep commitment and love for children, born from the urgent need to transform our educational system. While we stand apart from mainstream education, the spiritual guidance of Master Choa and the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner give us strength to fulfill this divine mission.

"When you teach your children compassion, you are establishing their foundation to become prosperous in the future." — Master Choa Kok Sui

From an early age, I felt a strong pull to care for others, children and elders alike. There was peace in being present, listening, nurturing, and sharing moments beyond boundaries of age or place. My childhood, full of freedom and creativity on my grandmother's farm, shaped my belief that learning is richest when it flows naturally, guided by curiosity rather than confinement.

Motherhood deepened this instinct. Parenting became a journey of discovery, inspiring me to create a space where my children could grow in knowledge and spirit. My passion for alternative education evolved into a profession, with my children as my greatest teachers.

My path found harmony in Waldorf education, a curriculum honoring the whole child: head, heart, and hands. Inspired by Theosophy through Pranic Healing and Anthroposophy through Waldorf pedagogy, I discovered a balance of spirituality and practical teaching. We began with just four children, growing organically as more families resonated with our vision.

Today, OHAA stands as a 21st-century school rooted in warmth, love, and respect for each child's unique pace.

"Our highest endeavor must be to develop free human beings capable of giving purpose and direction to their own lives. Imagination, truth, and responsibility — these three forces are the very nerve of education." — Rudolf Steiner

Our mission is to adapt education to modern life's rhythms while safeguarding the deep human connections that nurture resilience and purpose. We guide children to step into the future with confidence, compassion, and courage. Growth here is organic, and education is a shared journey between teacher, parent, and child. Together, we cultivate not just knowledge, but the wholeness of being.
